Hi all,
This is off-topic, but I feel validated since I am still viewing
LOTS of off-topic (negative/unnecesary) comments.
The weather here in N.E. was glorious today. Vibrant colors, gentle
breezes. The buzzing of neighbors' leaf blowers and the roaring of
lawnmower/leafbagger thinga-majigs cast a slight damper, but hey.
Well, I live in the suburbs.
I did not L.B. today, but my thoughts frequently turned to
tantilizingly close boxes just waiting to be found. I also amigined
all the local L.B. community folks out seeking and finding:-)
Today, I planted 30 crocuses, 10 tulips and 16 bi-colored daffodils
ina newly configured bed.
Hope springs eternal.

Hi,
It's wonderful to hear about the fall weather. Sometimes we do miss
it in CA. You planted bulbs instead of boxes. I'm sure your efforts
will be greatly rewarded come spring. Purple Iris

I've always been a New Englander. The changing of seasons is such an
energizer for the spirit. However, the abundance of fresh fruits and
veggies in Calif. year round staggers the imagination! I'll get out
there in the next few years to visit. A nephew lives there and a
niece will be moving there shortly.
Re letterboxing: I plan to place a letterbox on Cape Cod next
weekend. It will be at a remote spot.
